Studio D is a bright 1,600 sq ft photo studio located in the heart of DTLA's Fashion District. With a full wall of east-facing windows, this studio captures beautiful natural light throughout the day — direct sunlight at sunrise and soft, even lighting as the day progresses.

** Overtime Rates for Studio D $120/hr: Any hours past 8PM and before 6AM on bookings less than 10 hours will be considered overtime hours. Overtime hourly rates are double the regular hourly rate.
*** Please note: equipment rental cancellations occurring less than 72 hours from the shoot date will not be eligible for refund or credit. We advise that clients do their best to book finalized equipment lists. Is Studio D soundproof or suitable for video recording?

Studio D itself isn’t soundproof, but it is considered suitable for sound recording as many productions utilize this space when rolling sound. If needed, Apex Photo Studios has available sound treatments like sound blankets and 12x12 solids for rent in-house. If a sound proof space is required for your production send us an email at info@apexphotostudios.com to request our soundproof studio - Studio C

How many people can Studio D accommodate?

The studio comfortably holds up to 15 people, making it ideal for small-to-medium photo or video productions.

Does Studio D have natural light?

Yes. Studio D features a full wall of east-facing windows that fill the space with bright morning light and soft, even daylight as the day progresses.

Is lighting or production equipment included with the rental?

Studio D comes with:

Light, camera and grip gear are not included. However, we do have in-house equipment rentals available here.
